Couples young and old were serenaded on Friday ( February 17) night when Raymond Ramnarine and his Gasparillo based band mega band Dil-e-Nadan crooned out a wave melodious lyrics. The event was Raymond's annual Valentine's Day Concert that attracted a packed, and of course a well attired audience to the Centre Point Mall, Chaguanas. The show started around 8pm with Kishore Ramdath opening with the songs Kiuaa Hai Pyar and Sun Sajana, two Bollywood classics from the 1960s and 70s respectively. Sally Sagram, who shot to fame as child star when she appeared on the Children of Mastana Television Programme.

Sally dished out Baj Pan Ki Mohobat and Thandi Hawai before making way for Rene Ramnarine and Daddy Chinee. Rene the eldest of the Ramnarine singing clan dished out Poonchoo, Rehena Rahe and Yaako Maine. Rene gained additional recognition for his vocal talents in 2005 when he had no other choice but to fill the spot for Raymond who was out of the performing limelight because of a basketball injury he suffered in New York. Chinee who seems to be getting bigger physically and talent wise gave the audience Through the Years, a remix of Sookoo, and Rangabarse, the Phagwa song that was originally sung by the legendary Amitabh Bachan.

Richard Ramnarine came on with Yeh Hawaa and Sexy Kurti. Then it was time for the star of the show to grace the audience. Raymond's voice enveloped the auditorium with Ishq Chupta but he was no where to be seen, the audience then searched frantically with their eyes to see where the star would emerge from. Raymond strutted on stage wearing white and continued singing to the screaming and cheering audience. Raymond who is known for more than just singing spoke on family values, Raymond said while the band is having hectic Carnival Schedule he made sure the annual Valentine's Day show came to light. He even offered some timely advice to the masses to keep a straight head during the carnival season in a bid to avoid contracting HIV.

Raymond went on to sing Khiza Kay Phool, Tu Mere Zindagi, Janam Janam and Gori Ho Gori The second half saw more performances by the band. Raymond closed off the show with his mega love song, Someday and the hits Don't Stop, Baby Giry, Aur Chale and Warriors.
