This Dynamic and versatile Band has been in existence since 1972 and has come a long way with it's popularity. Within the past Thirty Three (33) Years the band went through many changes. Some members migrated whilst some branched off into other bands. Except for one member Steve Mahato, who stayed through thick and thin with this orchestra. He is not only the foundation member but he is also the Father of the Leader of the S.S.L. Melobugz, Rishi Mahato. Both father and son plays the keyboards.

Rishi Mahato has made a revolutionary change with this band since 1998 until presently. His youthful talent and musical abilities carried the band to it's climaxing stages. He creaqted a new and dynamic sensation with is style of music, which aroused the youths and the elders, but not just locally in Trinidad & Tobago but internationally as well.
